Finally got a new digital camera. After making myself a laptop case. (Um, I totally saw this design elsewhere so... yeah.... very chink of me to make a bootleg version.... indeed.)

My coworker put his test lip sync head on a pez dispenser and thought himself pretty witty. Well I one-upped him with an arbitrary TRAFFIC CONE.

If I had time and actual reason, I would've totally done the entire song. Since like, half of it consists of "O's" and such. Man I hate lip syncing.

A popular knock-off lolita fashion brand was having a design contest, and this was my submission. The theme is not quite as clear as I'd like it to be conveyed, but oh well. This is a response to an entry from last year called, "栗と栗鼠「Kuri to Risu」." Literally translated, "Chestnuts and Squirrels." But the key is to say it fast...

We finally got a scanner at my job!! So this is actually from like... June or so. Maybe even July.

I reflected upon very important matters during meetings:

how do people draw on the computer? how do you use the ink brush tool? how do you draw??

i remember keeping the turkey and apple cider in the snow outside, since there wasn't enough room in the fridge.
it feels like there used to always be snow by thanksgiving. if it doesn't hit by this thursday, here's hoping for a white christmas.

I keep trying to draw a cute and naive young heroine, but it keeps coming out like this.

Updating with a cleaned up version of a drawing from an earlier post. Needs better editing, and re-doing the ribbon with vectors was a bad idea. But overall pretty satisfied.

zoo drawing is fun. it's mostly sketching the rear ends of animals that are trying to ignore you. you can also tell which animals are more animated since their drawings are shittier. we should totally go to the natural history museum where all the animals are dead (unmoving), smell nice, and are forever locked into dynamic poses.
